Implementation Procedure

1. Explain to healthcare staff the rationale for the use of ArgiMent AT® in the treatment of non-healing wounds.
2. Select residents with the presence of a wound(s) that has not shown signs of healing after 30 days of standard nutrition interventions.
3. Achieve and maintain proper hydration of patients. International fluid ecommendations are 25-35mL/kg of usual bodyweight in adults depending on the clinical condition of the patient.
4. Administer ArgiMent AT. See Dosing.
5. Monitor and continue use.
6. Reassess and determine the need for a dose adjustment and appropriate continued use based on resident/patient's response.

Caution: Avoid with renal and liver disease and dehydration.
