The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) announced that after October 2021, they will transition the Nutrition Care Manual (NCM®) to only recognize IDDSI as the method for standardized texture modified diets.

This transition highlights the importance of recognizing the safety and best practice of implementation to IDDSI at your healthcare facility both for the benefits of your establishment and for your patient population.
